Is her zanpakutou ability based off Azuma's Great Tree Arc from Fairy Tail? Or did you make it up?The Passing Ash (Let's Chat!) 10:20, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Well the last part is as I thought it was a pretty good concept and thought of a few ways that he hasn't used it yet. The rest is basic wood manipulation. lol Raze Kucabara-Dono Light 12:59, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
Strife's Zan Review[]
Oh yeah! My connections sorted :P Anyways, small description but the ability itself is quite powerful and useful. The fact it can react to and learn from the experiences Madoka herself has is quite neat; and a nice psychological factor as well. The power allows her to essentially be fought once and if you don't manage to do her in then, she'll have altered herself in such a manner to either avoid or block the same techniques in a future meeting, thus limiting their overall usefulness, if not negating it completely. Take Kenji for example. His lightning powers may work during their first encounter, but in the second encounter she'd have adapted to it and made his powers essentially useless by making some change to herself. The same would be true for illusions, which you've described in the actual description. Obviously, the protection and alterations to Madoka herself wouldn't be perfect. I can only imagine that physical attacks like Kusaka's Rei Furashuu wouldn't be dealt with completely - only reduced in damage, or something along those lines.
Anyways, since its power reacts to experiences; you could try incorporating some form of evolution of its Shikai state - like I've tried to do with Kensai Kuchiki - when enough experience has been gained. Like a level up, if you will that changes the appearance, maybe adds one new skill per level-up. Obviously you'd need to put a limit on it. That's the only though I have to contribute pal, but its pretty obvious this is a nicely constructed ability with quite a few applications. Very nice zanpakutō and an enjoyable read :P Kenji-Taichō (Talk) 10:48, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
