Stefan Legoretta (ステファン·レゴレッタ Sutefan Regoretta "Lit"; Crown of the Deserted Place) is a Natural Arrancar who ascended from the depths of Hueco Mundo after the campaign of Sōsuke Aizen to recruit forces for his Espada. At one point of time, long in the past, he was the first Segundo Espada, prior to his seat being taken over by Baraggan Louisenbarn. He acted as one of the Privaron Espada prior to the dissolving of Aizen's forces after his downfall, and the uprising of the Vandenreich. During this time, Stefan would willingly associate with the individuals, before suddenly going into a 'self-imposed exile', which was in fact an attempted coup d'état against Yhwach. Because of the lack of supporters on his part, and the Quincy King simply being too powerful for him, Stefan permanently injured his left arm while doing so, which he doesn't use in combat anymore.

While not much is truly known about Stefan, he was thought to be one of the most powerful Natural Arrancar in existence. He existed during the very old times of Hueco Mundo, appearing as one of the first set of Hollow to exist after the emergence of Shinigami in Soul Society, as a means to balance the Cycle of Spirits.
